About the Director/Writer |
Seán Martin was born in Somerset
in 1966 and now lives in London. He studied film and television, history,
and religion and philosophy at the University of the South-West of England
from 1985-1988. Since graduation he has worked as a mushroom picker, telephone
switchboard operator, bank clerk, barman, and bookseller, and has made
a number of shorts, documentaries, and pop promos. He currently has a number
of projects in development, including a feature starring Colin Baker, which
was shot in February 1999. Mystery Play
is his first feature. He is still obsessed by the Van Eyck brothers (who
feature in Mystery Play
- although not personally) and one day hopes to complete his film about
H P Lovecraft. |
